How gorgeously beautiful can a Vatican Wedding be? Read here.
Utterly beautiful and magical! I was shaking and gaping soon as I stepped inside the St. Peter’s Basilica and its dedicated chapel for wedding ceremonies, Cappella del Coro (Chapel of the Choir). My husband’s longtime good friend (Fabricio) was getting married there with his beautiful bride (Kara) -witnessing it was like being in a dream, and I am not overreacting!
Have a look of these photos! (My #iphonography aren’t doing it justice, but believe me… the setting is drop-dead gorgeous, it left me speechless.)
I bet that while reading this, you might be asking how can you and your future husband/wife get married in the Vatican. Well, it is not easy for sure and sadly not for everyone -considering the population of Roman Catholics in the world -there are set prerequisites and tedious steps of course. First and foremost, the family of both the bride and groom should be active and have good/strong connections with their respective local churches, parish priest/bishop vis a vis representatives in the Vatican. Attending this wedding was both a privilege and a once in a lifetime experience. My husband and I can’t be more thankful for being in this occasion -add to that the free booze, sumptuous Italian specialties at their wedding reception in Rome’s Galleria del Cardinale, and the happy and friendly guests from all over the world. This, indeed, was a beautiful day to be noted in a lifetime.
Cheers to the newlyweds and to your forever, Kara & Fabricio! ❤ Bisous from the 3L’s
